About

Since 2009, Burr Law Offices, PLLC has represented clients in the Oklahoma City area with family law and civil litigation claims. Yet, he started his legal career at a law firm where he kept practicing family law until he ended up opening his own practice which he built from the ground up. Brady is a passionate, effective, and competent family and civil law attorney who has received awards and accolades from organizations such as Avvo and Super Lawyers®. Legal Philosophy

Brady T. Burr is an experienced Oklahoma attorney who balances reasonable settlement strategies with forceful courtroom litigation for over 12 years. Brady adheres to the Teddy Roosevelt philosophy “speak softly and carry a big stick.” Instead of throwing out one-liners, zingers, and empty threats, Brady builds his case and focuses on the client’s goals rather than attention-seeking theatrics. Settlement is the goal, but you have to be prepared to prove your case when settlement fails.

Father’s Rights

Men are strategically disadvantaged in child custody cases. Brady decided to focus on "father's rights" as a sort of his main advertising pitch—at the time, a unique practice focus. Gender equality is important for Brady, who fights just as hard for men as he does for women. His philosophy is that each parent should have an equal say in the decision making as well as have an equal influence over their children, more or less (barring certain circumstances, such as alcoholism or abuse). To help men to keep or reestablish a relationship with their children is his calling.

Oklahoma Proud

Brady is an adopted Oklahoman. His family moved to Oklahoma from Las Vegas, Nevada when Brady was 13 years old. This was a tough transition and culture shock, but the people and culture of Oklahoma won Brady over in a big way. His time in Oklahoma as a teenager made lasting impressions on him. Even though Brady’s family eventually left Oklahoma, Brady came back in 2006 to attend OU Law School, and he has been here ever since.

Interests & Community Involvement

Brady enjoys spending time with his wife Rika and son Elliot. He is a die-hard OU football and OKC Thunder fan. Brady is an active Mormon church member, and he volunteers with the church boy scout group. Brady believes in rights for veterans, volunteering with Lawyers for America’s Heroes.
